John J. Marino
Vice President for Professionals

John J. Marino served three years as president of UUP's largest chapter at Stony Brook Health Science Center. He was elected to a third term as statewide vice president for professionals at the Spring 2004 Delegate Assembly. Marino, associate director of the department of radiology at Stony Brook HSC, has been a member of the UUP Executive Board since 1999 and was a member of the union's successful Negotiations Team that settled the 1999-2003 contract. Other union service has included: HSC Concerns CommitteeJoint Labor/Management Committee on Employment Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals Committee Marino envisions a more active membersip with strong chapter and statewide structures capable of addressing our needs of today and the future.
