Eileen Landy
Secretary

Eileen Landy was elected Secretary of United University Professions in May 2001. She is an Associate Professor of Sociology at SUNY College at Old Westbury. Prior to her election as a statewide officer, Landy served two terms on the UUP Executive Board and was President of the Old Westbury Chapter for six years. Landy has served UUP in several positions: state Coordinator of Vote/Cope; Co-chair of the Part-Time Concerns Committee; member of the Negotiations Team; Delegate to NYSUT and AFT. Born in Buffalo, Landy earned a B.A. from Syracuse University and her M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
